- £20,000 – £27,000 (£90 - £105 per day)
- Monday – Friday (8:15am -3:45pm)
- Full time role
Teaching personnel are looking for a SEN Teaching assistant to help support the teaching staff to develop and provide quality learning for pupils with special education needs. A school in Hayes located in Enfield have 2 SEN provision rooms that require support day to day.
The role would be working with chidlren with different age ranges, all with SEMH needs. They require good communication and role models as a lot of them have troubled home lifes.
The school aim to provide the best possible education outcomes for our students. All of their students have a personalised learning programme top help them achieve their best. This is used to adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each student.

Main roles and responsibilities -
- Help assist the lead teacher enable each pupil to access their curriculum.
- Engage with playground activities.
- Plan and organise teaching material.
- Support and encourage the development of pupil’s education.
- Look after pupils physical, emotional and social welfare.
- Keep records and attend review meetings.
- Communicate with parents and guardians.
- Supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental needs.
- 1:1 and 2:1 support.
Key skills and requirements -
- Have experience working with SEN pupils.
- Friendly and compassionate.
- Patient.
- Sensitivity and understanding.
- Knowledge of teaching and ability to plan activities.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Confident working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

Salary - £20,000 – £27,000 (£90 -£105 per day)
