The Role – Behaviour MentorWe are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive all-through SEMH school for boys in Orpington. The school caters to students aged 7–18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, many of whom exhibit challenging behaviour and require structured, trauma-informed support.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to create a safe and consistent learning environment. You will support students both in and out of the classroom, helping them to self-regulate, build positive relationships, and engage with their education.

This role would suit someone with prior experience working in SEMH, youth work, or alternative provision, who is calm under pressure and committed to making a real impact.

The School – SEMH All-Through SchoolThis is a specialist all-through provision for boys with SEMH needs, located in the London Borough of Bromley. The school offers a therapeutic, personalised curriculum and supports around 100 students with a range of needs, including ADHD, ODD, and ASD. Staff are well-supported and work within a collaborative team that prioritises emotional wellbeing, behaviour regulation, and student progression. The school is easily accessible by public transport and offers on-site parking.
