Role Overview:
As one of the first hires on a newly formed options trading team, you'll have a unique opportunity to help shape the desk from the ground up. You'll be working closely with an experienced trader working on scaling an existing volatility trading strategy – trading US equity options. The team works closely with highly skilled researchers and developers at DV, allowing traders to focus on coming up with great ideas and execute them successfully.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Generate trading profits through volatility trading by taking positions
- Real-time risk management of your portfolio and trades
- Improving and refining the setup and infrastructure of the desk
- Identify and pursue new opportunities using quantitative methods
- 6-24 months of work experience in a trading firm, with focus on volatility trading
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- In depth understanding of volatility trading and willing to act on your opinion to take advantage of opportunities in the market
- Will to work according to US market hours
- Proficient with Excel; VBA is a plus
- Proficient in a programming language (preferably Python); Other programming experience is a plus
