Our residential conveyancing team are on hand to guide clients through the conveyancing process from start to finish for a wide variety of properties including freehold, leasehold, new build, listed, flats and houses. Their ability to identify and advise on any pitfalls teamed with their understanding of the impact moving home can have on families ensures they deliver an excellent all-round client experience. We now have an opportunity for a Paralegal to join our residential conveyancing in London.

You'll be guided by a qualified lawyer and will assist fee earners at all levels with tasks such as opening files, dealing with search applications, land registry applications and HMRC returns, updating estate agents, dealing with mortgage lenders and more. Your role will be of paramount importance as you progress and follow up on time critical exchanges and/or completions.

Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?
You'll have some form of legal academics, be that a law degree, LPC or SQE, or you might be pursuing study for CILEX qualification alongside full time work.
You'll ideally have upwards of 6 months experience in a similar role and familiarity with the residential conveyancing process.
This a busy role where deadlines must be met to ensure processes run smoothly so you'll be organised, confident in balancing day to day work with deadlines and effective in case and transaction management. You will be confident in the use of Microsoft Office and familiar with case management systems
Long term client relationships are key to the team so you will be an effective communicator with the ability to convey information concisely and accurately to clients and third parties in a polite, calm and professional manner to build trusted working relationships.
Your strong communication skills and team ethos will also carry over into your interactions with your colleagues, we work collaboratively, support one another and rely on everyone working towards a shared goal.
