Location: Canary Wharf (hybrid working, 4 days in office)
Pay Rate: £22.05 per hour plus holiday accrual

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to join a prestigious investment banking environment in Canary Wharf. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations for a large team of junior bankers within the Transportation and Media & Communications sectors.

What you'll do:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to a large group of junior bankers across multiple teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage extensive verbal and written communication with internal colleagues as well as some external clients, fostering positive relationships both domestically and internationally.
- Maintain up-to-date client contact details and ensure information is accurately recorded in internal systems.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, conference calls, and events by managing schedules, sending invitations, booking meeting rooms, and preparing necessary materials.
- Proactively manage complex diaries for senior team members, resolving scheduling conflicts with initiative and acting as gatekeeper for meeting requests.
- Arrange all aspects of business travel including flights, hotels, visas, ground transportation, and prepare detailed itineraries in line with company policies.
- Process monthly expenses using online systems such as Concur, ensuring timely submission and compliance with expense policies.
- Support event management activities including closing events and social or team gatherings by handling logistics from start to finish.

- Clear communication skills-both written and verbal-that allow you to convey information succinctly while building rapport across diverse teams.

- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail when managing diaries, travel bookings or processing expenses online via platforms like Concur.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information or confidential matters related to workload or client data.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (especially Outlook) along with experience using CRM systems and video conferencing tools such as Zoom.
- Previous experience working in investment banking (corporate finance or M&A advisory) is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided on all systems.
