Electrical Engineer - #1739859

We’re working alongside a leading UK facilities management provider who is seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Engineer for a key static site in Colindale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and thrives in a well-structured, team-focused environment.You’ll be providing hands-on electrical maintenance and support across a modern and complex building. From lighting systems and distribution boards to compliance testing and fault-finding, you’ll be ensuring critical services are maintained safely and efficiently. This is a static role, offering a great work-life balance, long-term stability, and the chance to be part of a well-respected engineering team. Duties:

• Performing both scheduled PPM and responsive electrical maintenance tasks.
• Inspecting, testing, and maintaining lighting systems, small power, and control panels.
• Supporting statutory compliance tasks including emergency lighting and fire alarm checks.
• Diagnosing faults and delivering remedial work efficiently and safely.
• Keeping accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborating with mechanical and HVAC engineers to ensure seamless site operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2330).
• 18th Edition certification is essential.
• Strong background in commercial or building services FM environments.
• Confident working independently and reading technical schematics.
• Awareness of H&S protocols, permit systems, and site compliance needs.
• Full right to work in the UK and able to work full-time in Colindale.
