Women's Outerwear Designer Role:

Seeking a talented and creative Women's Casual Outerwear Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity and flair for Outerwear and Multi-Product. This role involves leading design projects from concept through to production, ensuring collections are fresh, stylish, and aligned with the inhouse style and ethos.

Women's Outerwear Designer Responsibilities:

  • Development of casual outerwear and multi-product collections, in line with the latest trends
  • Works well with a design team to conceptualise and create innovative designs for various categories including outerwear and multi-product.
  • Oversee the entire design process - from mood boards, sketches, CADs, tech packs, fabric selection, to final garment fitting must have strong presentation skills
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure designs are executed to a high standard and cost implications
  • Research new trends, fabrics, techniques, and design innovations
  • Ensure product alignment with market demands and product strategy
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and creative environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in womenswear fashion design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing women's outerwear and multi-product
  • Proficiency in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD)
  • Excellent CAD and tech pack skills in a pacey environment
  • Exceptional creativity, knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction
  • Strong understanding of the fashion market and consumer behaviour
  • Excellent communication and teamwork, ability to lead and inspire others
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
