EHCP Coordinator – South London – Local Authority – Hybrid Location: South London Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience Pertemps is currently recruiting for an experienced EHCP (SEN) Assessment & Review Coordinator to join a Local Authority in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable professional to support statutory duties related to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within the Post-14 team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the statutory assessment and review process for pupils with special educational needs
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015, and associated regulations
• Coordinate placements and ongoing provision for pupils residing in the borough, including those placed out-of-borough
• Draft and amend high-quality EHCPs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Liaise with families, schools, and professionals to support positive outcomes for children and young people

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of 6 months' recent experience (within the last 2 years) in SEN Casework and EHCP writing for a Local Authority
• Demonstrable experience in a Post-14 SEN Team – this is essential
• Up-to-date working knowledge of SEND legislation
• Outstanding written communication skills, particularly for EHCP production
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
