This role is based in our East Finchley office working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

What will my accountabilities be?


Strategy & Leadership

  • Co-develop and lead the execution of McDonald’s DEI strategy, aligned with global goals and the People Positive Plan.
  • Coordinate and coach the Inclusion team to deliver high-impact work.
  • Share insights and best practices across global markets.


Culture & Engagement

  • Design initiatives that embed our values and drive a people-first, customer-centric culture.
  • Collaborate with the Reputation team and wider business to strengthen our cultural identity.
  • Improve Values Index and Brand Trust scores through targeted campaigns.
  • Communicate our purpose through creative, engaging storytelling.


Inclusion & Belonging

  • Lead the Inclusion Network and Employee Business Networks.
  • Deliver a DEI education strategy that promotes belonging at every level.
  • Build strategic external partnerships to amplify our inclusion efforts.
  • Benchmark against best practice to keep us ahead in DEI and engagement.


What Team will I be a part?

You will be part of the market’s People Team and will report to the Reputation, Inclusion and Corporate Partnership Lead


Who are my customers?

Customers of this role will include our Franchisees, Directors and our UK & Ireland Executive. The role will liaise heavily with other leaders from across the organisation, as well as global colleagues.


What background would we expect you to have?

You’ll likely come from a background in people, culture, or DEI, ideally within a large, complex organisation. You may have experience in HR, communications, social impact, or organisational psychology, with a strong track record of leading cross-functional projects and driving cultural or behavioural change. You’re confident working with senior stakeholders, skilled at building partnerships, and comfortable navigating fast-paced environments. Whether through engagement, wellbeing, or inclusion, you know how to turn strategy into action and create meaningful impact.
