The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a passionate VP of Product – Northern Hemisphere to join the company to manage all aspects of the product from vision to production as part of the global team and a member of the Senior team.
You will have multiple years of commercial experience in a software product role, driving change and demonstrating strategic leadership and insights to ensure we are always ahead of the market. You can identify opportunities, determine a clear direction for the product, and manage priorities effectively. You are a commercial product manager in your heart and soul which can also communicate and influence sales and executive teams.

- Ownership of the regional product vision, strategy, and roadmap and contribute to the global product strategy roadmap
- Ability to apply market insights, stakeholder views and a commercial lens to design, lead and manage from data to effectively prioritise work, maximize the value and align to our customer and strategic aspirations.
- Opportunity to explore the next wave of challenges with customers through research and regular interaction and engagement across the Gentrack team and solution with them and the team
- Collaboration with your team in thinking big, to imagining future solutions that solve these problems.

You have multiple years of experience in a software product role, driving change and learning through multiple release cycles in agile and complex environment.
Experience~
- Enterprise App solutions deployed in a SAAS environment - required
- You have experience in Utilities industry – big advantage
- Salesforce Industries software (Energy & Utilities Cloud) – big advantage
- Ability to create and facilitate partnerships by influencing a diverse range of regional and international stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to draft and present incisive reports targeted at a senior audience
- Well – developed business and commercial acumen and credibility
- Experience of building teams, developing and implementing operational plans from strategic frameworks
- Leadership experience~ collaborative, coaching approach to enable and grow talent
- Conceptual strategic thinking and planning with a record of delivering against strategic objectives
- Ability to engage, lead and support the business in planning for the economical creation of new products as well as enhancements to existing products
- Nurture and develop core capabilities in product development and support aligned with business priorities
- Ability to mentor / Coach and lead others and develop leadership talent
- You are a doer, capable of leading teams by example to determine and deliver against the product priorities
- You are independent and focus on outcomes first with examples of how learning and feedback have been incorporated into strategies and experiences.
- You are a clear communicator who is able to guide discussions with executives, decision-makers, and users.
- We are very passionate about what we do and, therefore, a key strength would be your ability to deliver in a very fast-paced environment.
- You are ready to represent the product, always looking for opportunities to improve engagement and support customer success.
- You have an understanding of business application software architecture - web and cloud applications
