We’re seeking an Account Manager to drive the commercial success of this innovative business stream. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and expanding our client relationships, ensuring repeat business, and developing new opportunities for growth. Acting as the key point of contact for our clients, you’ll be a strategic thinker with the commercial and interpersonal acumen to support project success from pitch to delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cultivating long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in client organisations
- Leading strategic account planning and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
- Identifying new business opportunities across approved sectors
- Managing negotiations and contracts aligned with our commercial goals
- Collaborating with software engineers, project managers, and marketing teams
- Representing System C at industry events, conferences, and senior client engagements
- Supporting our presence in the market through business development and promotional activity
What we’re looking for:
- Proven background in account management, business development or similar roles, ideally within the software or technology consultancy space
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- A proactive, confident, and commercially minded approach
- Strong organisational and ICT skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the health, social care or academic research sectors is a bonus
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
This is a remote role, but will require regular travel between London, Oxford and Cambridge.
