An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a global creative business as Group Reporting Manager. You'll lead monthly group consolidation across 60+ entities and support reporting to the parent company, driving accuracy, compliance, and process improvement in a fast-paced, international environment. Hybrid working (2 days in London HQ). Strong Excel and consolidation experience essential.
A global creative and marketing group is seeking a qualified Group Reporting Manager to oversee group consolidation and support external reporting across a network of 60+ business units. This London-based role (hybrid, 2 days in office) sits within the group finance function and is a key point of contact for consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and monthly parent company submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of monthly and annual group consolidations, including elimination journals and supporting schedules such as FCTR, NCI, and group amortisation.
Coordinate and manage reporting submissions to the parent company, ensuring alignment of profit and loss, balance sheet, headcount, and client data.
Own intercompany reconciliations across P&L and balance sheet lines, partnering with the intercompany accountant to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and enhance automated reporting processes and templates for both internal and parent-level reporting.
Collaborate with group finance to review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, supporting process improvements and identifying control gaps.
Provide ad hoc support on projects including budgeting, business performance reporting, and system enhancements.
Actively contribute to wider ESG goals by engaging in sustainability training and integrating sustainable practices into financial processes.
Candidate Profile:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with proven experience in group consolidation and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel user, confident working with complex formulae and data structures.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working under pressure in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
Passionate about driving change and sustainability within the finance function.
