Job Scope And Main Responsibilities

As a Chanel Brand Intern, you will support the North Europe Chanel Brand Director to execute the commercial and marketing strategy across Wholesale and Retail.

Areas Of Responsibilities And Related Activities

Examples of areas in which you will assist include, but are not limited to

  • coordinating the brand calendar, managing written materials & tracking brand performance;
  • assisting with the production behind brand immersions including trainings, trade conferences, promotional events;
  • proof reading and checking brand communications and material adhering to the brand guidelines;
  • managing the content uploads and creation of the ‘brand news’ section on SharePoint for the salesforce;
  • assist in amending and sharing new collection presentations to internal/external stakeholders for new releases;
  • monthly distribution review assistance, analysis on new door openings forms to share for brand approval;
  • managing Chanel Eyes report and sharing sales with corporate;
  • managing the POP report once the tools are collected from the closures;
  • collecting product feedback from markets and quality issues, sharing a report weekly to corporate;
  • assisting with weekly sales reports to monitor brand performance across countries and channels;
  • processing new door application forms and sharing with Chanel Director for approval;
  • producing brand reports, include activity evaluation, distribution and segmentation analysis;
  • assistant with incentive programme results and the communications on Smartly;
  • monthly competitor analysis reports in the field and online, this will involve time in the field with Account Managers;
  • assisting with ad hoc bestseller reports and updating the Ideal Assortment with every new release;
  • downloading and managing in store photographs; market/store checks (London);
  • assisting with ad-hoc administration duties for the marketing department as and when required;

Technical Skills - Portrait Of a Perfect Candidate

To apply for and be successful in this role, the candidate must

  • be educated to degree-level
  • be proficient in Microsoft packages;
  • have demonstrable organizational skills;
  • have good spoken and written English;
  • have experience in marketing; and
  • have a demonstrable interest in marketing.
