The Columbo Group
We're on the hunt for a Bartender to join the team at The Blues Kitchen.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our bar scene—crafting exquisite cocktails, serving up our finest drinks, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. If you thrive on a busy night, love mixing drinks and are passionate about delivering warm, engaging service, we want to hear from you. This is more than just a bar job. It’s a chance to grow your skills, learn from experienced professionals, and be part of a team that values development as much as great service. If you’re passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to build a long-term career in the industry, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve cocktails and drinks to spec with speed and care
  • Deliver warm, memorable service on every shift
  • Keep the bar clean, organised, and well-stocked
  • Learn and grow through regular training and mentorship
  • Support your team and share knowledge along the way
  • Represent The Blues Kitchen with confidence and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar.
  • Strong communicator and team player under pressure.
  • Passionate about hospitality, people, and personal growth.
  • Driven, reliable, and eager to contribute to a vibrant team culture.
  • A love for music, nightlife, and London’s social scene.

What To Expect

  • Competitive Pay: £12.50 per hour plus tronc (total package usually in the range of £16 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
  • A dynamic working environment where no two shifts are the same. The Blues Kitchen is a lively bar, restaurant and music venue meaning our teams work a variety of daytime and evening shifts over the course of the week.
  • A relaxed dress code—no uniforms here; just bring your best self.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Food & Social Perks: Enjoy 50% off across our venues, our annual celebrations and free access to our events and festivals.
  • Career Growth: At The Columbo Academy, your ambition is our inspiration. We’re here to guide you on a clear path to personal and professional greatness.
  • Hero of the Month: Get recognized for your standout work and enjoy a paid weekend off.
  • Bar & Restaurant Incentives: Top seller in drinks revenue pockets a £50 voucher.
  • Employee Referrals: Bring in talent – earn £1,000 for Chef/Manager referrals or £250 for hourly roles.
  • Global Industry Trips: For our top performers and wine experts – your next adventure awaits.
  • Pension via Nest: Lock in your future with our pension plan.

The award-winning Blues Kitchen is one of London’s most loved and legendary venues. Stunningly beautiful, it is the perfect space to soak up a live soundtrack of timeless blues and soul from world-famous musicians. With all American favourites on the menu and an expertly curated selection of drinks, The Blues Kitchen stands as one of the UK’s most loved nightlife experiences.
