We’re looking for a highly organized Sports Bookings Manager to join our Olympic Operations team at WBD Sports. Reporting to the Director of Olympic Operations, you’ll manage the end-to-end bookings process for Milano Cortina 2026, acting as the liaison between WBD Production teams, Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), and the Local Organising Committee.

Your New Role...

Reporting to the Director of Olympic Operations, the Bookings team are responsible for all stages of the booking process with WBD Sports Production. The Sports Bookings Manager will be required to guide International Production Teams through the submission process with OBS and Local Organising Committee. You will work in conjunction with the relevant WBD Departments, such as Engineering, Digital, Operations, IT, Distribution.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Responsible for collating and processing requests from WBD Production for the Olympic Games
  • Liaise with Internal Markets to establish their onsite production, engineering and operational requirements.
  • Maintain and update the WBD bookings database, ensuring seamless communication with the wider business, Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), and the Local Organising Committee
  • Prepare daily event Transmission reports for distribution across internal and external client groups.
  • Point of contact for Bookings related matters across WBD.
  • Line management of Booking Coordinator and Games Time Booking Staff
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to ensure seamless delivery.
  • In addition to Olympic Games Assignment, work on other events within the WBD Sports Portfolio

Qualifications And Experience...

  • Experience of working in a broadcast environment delivering live events.
  • Familiarity with technical production workflows
  • Experience of complex multisport operations
  • Team management experience and a proactive mindset
  • Attention to detail, excellent time management and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site during Olympic Games Time (London, Paris, Milan, Cortina, LA)

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
