Description

  • Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports related to capital and fixed assets.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for fixed assets.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies for asset management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights.
  • Support year-end audits with accurate asset-related documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for asset management.
  • Provide advice on capital expenditure and depreciation schedules.

Profile

A successful Capital & Fixed Asset Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing fixed assets and capital accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial systems.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial concepts clearly.
