The Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract insights from complex datasets and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong foundation in data science techniques, programming, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.

The Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract insights from complex datasets and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong foundation in data science techniques, programming, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.
Principal Accountabilities
- Apply advanced analytics techniques including mathematics, statistics, data mining, and predictive/prescriptive modeling to derive actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and implement data science models using specialized programming languages and tools to solve business problems and optimize processes.
- Source, prepare, and clean data for analysis by identifying, validating, and integrating internal and external datasets.
- Formulate hypotheses and explore data using models and analytics sandboxes to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Evaluate and enhance model performance through continuous testing, validation, and refinement to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data pipelines are optimized for efficient model training and deployment.
- Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders through clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Work cross-functionally with business units to integrate data science solutions into operational workflows and strategic initiatives.
Education & Experience
- M.Sc. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data science or similar analytical role.
- Experience with open-source data science tools and libraries.
- Familiarity with AWS and related cloud technologies.
- Experience with data governance and management best practices.
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (e.g., S3, EC2, SageMaker).
- Familiarity with tools like Jupyter, Snowflake, Docker, and Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Natural curiosity and a passion for uncovering insights from data.
