Role Description

Our client is looking to hire a Permanent full-time Sales Manager in the UK (must be located in the UK) to lead client acquisition, drive revenue growth, and build long-term relationships within the UK market. This role offers a hybrid of strategic sales planning and execution, with performance-based incentives and flexibility for remote working.

This role will report directly to the Head of Sales and collaborate closely with the marketing and account management teams. It is offered as a full-time permanent position, remote, and only open to candidates based in the United Kingdom who do not require any visa sponsorship and can demonstrate the right to work in the UK without restriction. Priority will be given to candidates with digital marketing agency experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the UK market.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through outreach, networking, and research tools such as HubSpot and Apollo.
  • Engage with prospects through various channels to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations that effectively communicate the agency's value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and performance terms, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage the transition from acquisition to account management with a focus on long-term success.
  • Collaborate with marketing and account teams to ensure campaign alignment with client goals.
  • Provide sales forecasts, performance updates, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Use CRM tools to track leads, sales metrics, and campaign performance.
  • Conduct market research to inform positioning and sales targeting.
  • Stay abreast of competitor activities, emerging marketing technologies, and sector trends.
  • Provide recommendations to improve the strategy based on market insights.
  • Guide clients through onboarding, invoicing, and project scoping processes.
  • Partner with account teams where needed to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or notable industry experience).
  • 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally within a marketing, advertising, or digital agency.
  • Strong understanding of growth marketing and digital services.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing high-value client accounts.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, resilient, and self-motivated with a passion for sales and strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and engaging with cross-functional teams remotely.
