Amazon has spent years building one of the world’s most efficient and optimized supply chains. The Multi Channel Fulfillment Solutions Org (MCF) is building on that foundation by innovating end-to-end supply chain capabilities for merchants that want to use Amazon’s capabilities to fulfill orders from their own website or other marketplaces.
The MCF team are seeking a Senior Program Manager to create and own business planning, commercial and program performance optimization workstreams for the International MCF business (UK, EU4, JP, CA, MX and AUS). The MCF international business team is embarking on a funded multi-country expansion; this role is foundational to define, launch and scale business and program management capabilities that support our MCF’s expansion.
The successful candidate will have a track record of; 1) building relationships and partnering across multiple functions to deliver results (including but not be limited to Finance, Technology, Product and Sales/ Account Management), 2) diving deep and managing data, 3) being naturally curious and thriving in ambiguous environments. With the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment., 4) building strong program mechanism that drive visibility, collaboration and effective decision making, 5) presenting updates both verbal and written at a senior leadership level and 6) effectively leading multiple programs simultaneously, being able to prioritize and manage risks.
Key job responsibilities
This role sits within the International MCF team, we are responsible for the 9 countries where MCF operates outside of the US. The team owns business strategy, performance and international expansion. The team spans Sales, Account Management, Program Management, Marketing, Operations and Finance. We partner closely with the central US MCF team across Product, Tech, Finance and Program, as well as local teams within priority counties (UK, JP and DE). The team sits within the Buy with Prime organization.
Given the broad remit and responsibilities of the team, the team has a start-up like culture with team members having the opportunity to hold broad ownership as well as visibility across the business.

Key job responsibilities
- Become an subject matter expert on the MCF international business and its commercials. Owning international MCF insights across business drivers, program optimization, customer experience as well as cost.
- Own program and business insights and reporting at a VP and Director level. Lead program deep dives and cross-functional program management of resulting programs and deliverables.
- Lead Commercial related workstreams for the International Team - including but not limited to discount strategies and annual fee change inputs
- Support International OP planning forecasts (OP1, OP2 and Quarterly guidance)
- Own the International cost optimization workstream across International MCF and priority countries. This involves completing deep dives, establishing the roadmap and program managing resulting actions in broad cross-functional partnership across Finance, Ops, Product and others. This includes delivering reporting and status updates to Senior Leadership
- Deliver strategic initiatives including Country strategy recommendations and other initiatives
- Own international competitor bench-marking research

Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program or project management
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of professional experience in similar roles
- Experience leading process improvements
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Strong commercial and financial understanding. Preferably with experience working on Fees/ Pricing strategy
