  • Prepare materials and presentations related to trading activities and market conditions and produce regular market commentary.
  • Leverage market insights alongside macroeconomic and quantitative analysis to generate trade ideas in both developed and emerging markets.
  • Utilize a diverse skill set to address ad hoc requests within the broader portfolio management framework, providing support across various functional areas.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with sell-side FX market makers, electronic execution vendors, and trading platforms.

Position Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials and achievement, with quantitative acumen preferred.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of FX products.
  • Ideally between 2-5 years of experience in FX trading.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Account Managers.

Critical Competencies for Success

  • A commonsensical approach to investing.
  • Highly quantitative approach to developing trade ideas.
  • Proficiency in at least one computer language or experience of collaborating with rest of the team on models or other analysis
  • Astute ability to respect, listen to, and collaborate well with colleagues and clients.

Other Personal Characteristics

  • Possess an exceptional work ethic and thrive in high-intensity environments.
  • Maintain a low ego, a good sense of humor, emotional maturity, and the humility to accept constructive feedback.
  • Exhibit strong conviction while remaining open-minded.
  • Stay calm and objective in the face of market volatility.
  • Uphold unassailable ethics and integrity.
