THE ROLE:

As an Account Director at Grey Health, you will be a key leader, driving the success of our client partnerships and ensuring the delivery of exceptional creative work within the health and wellness sector. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, leading integrated campaigns, and managing a team to achieve strategic and commercial objectives. This role requires a passion for creativity, a solutions-focused mindset, and a collaborative spirit.

Reporting to the Business Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping memorable brand experiences. As a member of our team, you will join a creative, globally minded team surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Leadership:

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow the client relationship and expand Grey Health's services.

Strategic Direction:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with client objectives and brand strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on marketing and communication strategies within the health and wellness landscape.
  • Proactively assess assigned accounts to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Seek out new opportunities to enhance current client relationships and create added value.
  • Ensure that all work is strategically sound and delivers measurable results.

Creative Excellence:

  • Champion creative excellence and work closely with creative teams to develop innovative and impactful campaigns.
  • Provide constructive feedback on creative concepts and executions.
  • Protect and nurture creative ideas, ensuring they are brought to life in the best possible way.

Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Account Managers and/or Account Executives when required.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Work closely with project management, production, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

Commercial Acumen:

  • Manage client budgets and ensure profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimise resource allocation.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements within the health and wellness sector.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the team and clients.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other agency partners (media, digital, PR) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Work closely with internal departments (strategy, creative, production) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Communicate regularly with Account Services, Strategy, Project Management and Production team members to ensure all deliverable and deadlines are met.
  • Support teams through all phases of the project form ideation through production.
  • Assist creative leaders with client presentations/deliverables.
  • Remain current on latest creative trends globally.
  • Stay curious about award shows, past and present case studies, and everything that is being created by some of the best people and companies in our industry.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Possess 6-8 years of demonstrable experience in account management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Has a proven track record in leading successful and multiple integrated marketing campaigns with a capacity to take on many moving parts and simplify/prioritise.
  • Is strategically strong and able to articulate the brand strategy and how this shapes the creative.
  • Has a keen eye for good creative, how to protect it and how to sell it.
  • Is excellent at fostering strong client relationships and experience with working with Clients remotely.
  • Shows great organisation skills across all tasks and is commercially savvy.
  • Has strong written and communication skills, particularly in presentations.
  • Can manage large-scale projects, both internal and external, with strong commercial acumen including Industry Congresses.
  • Understands the role of senior management and leverage the coaching role they play at the right time, with the right preparation.
  • Loves to develop and nurture talent, preferably with experience as a line manager.
