About the role

We are looking for a strategic, dynamic and highly motivated PR professional to join a collaborative fast growing marketing department. You will create holistic content marketing campaigns, focussing on achieving maximum, quality exposure to reach target audiences. Naturally, you will keep up to date with the latest fashion trends, influencers and social media and have previous experience in PR. In addition you must be an innovative individual who is self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running. No day will be the same, so you will be an excellent communicator who is confident, approachable and adaptable in forming key stakeholder relationships. You can expect to work as part of an engaged and connected team reporting into our Brand Media Manager who is extremely passionate about the team and supporting your personal development.

You will..

• Plan in product and content for all Lipsy Instagram and social media channels
• Liaise with influencers daily re paid wear and gifting on their social channels
• Update the department with upcoming and on trend event spaces for Lipsy influencer events
• Research for content ideas and trends for our Lipsy social media channels
• Coordinate activities for Lipsy influencer days out or trips abroad and take content images and video
• Analyse results from events and blogger activities and plan for the future accordingly
• Manage all weekly and monthly reporting and analysis on all Lipsy blogger events and media coverage
• Proactively develop copywriting skills by supporting the PR team on the planning and briefing of creative content
• Responsible for writing and distributing press releases
• Plan weekly fashion newsletters for press
• Develop and build strong relationships with press, broadcasts, monthly glossies, weekly magazines and creative agencies, securing coverage across target media titles and communication key new stories
• Develop and build strong relationships with stylists
• Send appropriate samples to PR contacts and magazines
• Manage all and weekly and monthly media coverage and circulate internally
• Keep up to date with emerging and established fashion/beauty blogs
• Feedback key social trends, industry and digital developments to the PR and Marketing teams
• Support the PR/Marketing department with online and offline marketing activity and projects
• Responsible for updating the PR and Marketing calendar with internal and external key dates, events and content focuses
• Co-ordinate, schedule and plan ad hoc brand events, including press days and product launches
• Outreach relevant influencers/bloggers and develop strong relationships
• Contribute to PR and Marketing meetings, taking minutes and distributing across the team
• Research competitor activity and continuously seek out new creative opportunities
• Confidently represent Lipsy, Friends Like These and Love & Roses at all times, at events and offline marketing initiatives
• Any other duties consistent with this role, including general admin support and contribution where needed and those as reasonably requested by the company to ensure the continuous development of the business

• Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally for a fashion/ retail business
• Strong organisational skills
• Confident and approachable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Keen interest in fashion and keeping up to date with the latest trends
• Photoshop skills
• Blogger knowledge and interest in social media
• Strong attention to detail
• Adaptable, self-motivated and willing to learn
• Team player with excellent relationship building skills
