Motor Vehicle Technician (Level 3) / MOT Tester - Independent Garage - Romford Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience & Qualifications)

A well-established, family-run independent MOT and servicing garage in Romford is looking for a skilled and reliable Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join their friendly, close-knit team. An MOT Tester qualification (Class 4) would be a strong advantage, though not essential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs across a broad range of vehicles

• Perform MOT testing (if qualified), in line with DVSA standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer care

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

• MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential)

• Full UK driving licence

• Diagnostic and fault-finding experience

• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a small team
