Are you a compassionate and insightful PSHE Citizenship Teacher with a talent for guiding young people through personal development and understanding their role in society in a single-sex setting? We are partnering with an Outstanding boys' school in Brent that is seeking a fantastic temporary, part-time PSHE Citizenship Teacher to join their dedicated team, starting ASAP. This is a wonderful opportunity to foster well-rounded, responsible, and engaged citizens across Key Stages 3 and 4, with exciting potential for Key Stage 5.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be delivering engaging PSHE Citizenship lessons covering topics such as health, relationships, careers, personal finance, and democratic processes for boys.
  • It's about creating a safe and inclusive space for open discussion, critical thinking about social issues, and developing students' empathy and resilience.
  • You'll contribute to the school's pastoral care system and promote positive citizenship.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience or a strong interest in PSHE and Citizenship education.
  • Experience teaching engaging and effective PSHE Citizenship lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of relevant safeguarding practices and a commitment to student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong classroom management, and a genuine passion for nurturing confident and responsible young men.
