About the RoleThis new position offers diverse responsibilities, allowing you to manage a portfolio of the firm’s clients and support their accounting needs.

You will provide leadership to junior staff and working closely with the Founder and senior colleagues you will play a key role.

We are looking for an ACCA/ACA qualified professional, with at least a few years of UK practice experience. PQ ACCA will also be considered.

The major focus of the role will be on preparing FRS102a statutory accounts, reviewing VAT work and preparing accounts and corporate returns for the clients.

The firm’s clients sit across multiple industries, but it would be great if you have experience in the property sector.

Wider Responsibilities

• Managing and taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients.
• Preparing and finalising FRS102a statutory accounts.
• Completing tax computations and submitting returns to HMRC for sole traders and partnerships.
• Performing bookkeeping and VAT review work and return submissions.
• Supporting and supervising junior staff.
• Handling correspondence with HMRC, Companies House, and other related entities.
• Meeting with clients to maintain and strengthen relationships.
• Ensuring compliance deadlines and client requests are met.
• Supporting the Founder and handling ad-hoc tasks as required.
