Our client is a trusted refurbishment and maintenance contractor based in Essex, delivering high-quality services to the social housing sector. Due to a growing number of contracts, they are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team on a long-term basis.

The Role:As an Electrician, you will carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in occupied and void social housing properties across Essex, London, and Crawley. This role requires a professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to deliver work to a high standard, often in tenants’ homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding, testing, and repairs in social housing properties

• Rewires, EICRs, consumer unit upgrades, and remedial works

• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards

• Liaising with tenants, housing officers, and the wider maintenance team

• Accurate completion of job reports and compliance paperwork

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Valid ECS card

• Previous experience working in social housing is essential

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
