Role: Technical Project Manager
We are looking for a highly capable Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of sophisticated data pipelines and distributed data architectures. This role is pivotal in shaping a flexible, domain-oriented data ecosystem that empowers teams across the enterprise. You will work closely with domain experts, data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to orchestrate the successful delivery of data products and infrastructure aligned with modern data mesh principles.

Role: Technical Project Manager
We are looking for a highly capable Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of sophisticated data pipelines and distributed data architectures. This role is pivotal in shaping a flexible, domain-oriented data ecosystem that empowers teams across the enterprise. You will work closely with domain experts, data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to orchestrate the successful delivery of data products and infrastructure aligned with modern data mesh principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Agile Leadership Manage the delivery, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of complex technical projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies (planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint execution).
- Stakeholder Collaboration Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the software product lifecycle.
- Domain-Oriented Data Architecture Facilitate domain identification and help teams establish clear boundaries and ownership of data products in line with data mesh principles.
- Risk & Change Management Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects. Manage change requests and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership Align diverse teams including domain experts, data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams toward shared goals and delivery timelines.
- Vendor & Governance Management Oversee vendor relationships and ensure delivery against agreed terms. Support federated governance models balancing autonomy with compliance and data quality standards.
- Infrastructure & Integration Support Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to build and evolve self-service data infrastructure that supports independent data product development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience managing large-scale technical projects in data-intensive environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed data architectures, including data contracts, interoperability, and federation patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with data mesh architecture and domain-oriented data product design.
- Experience implementing federated governance models for data quality, security, and compliance.
- Knowledge of self-service data infrastructure and modern data platforms.
- Proficiency in cloud services (AWS preferred); AWS certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking in digital and technology transformation contexts.
