What You'll Be Doing:
As our Finance Analyst, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Finance Manager with vital financial and management reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing timely and accurate financial information, including weekly and monthly P&L reporting.
- Maintaining and reconciling cost provisions, accruals, and various cost and revenue accounts.
- Providing in-depth analysis and insights into specific business unit performance, ensuring KPIs are monitored and highlighted for management.
- Ensuring site compliance with corporate standards and financial controls.
- Supporting the Transport Finance Team with holiday cover and general assistance.
- Contributing to the development of standardised reports and efficient working practices.
- Assisting with business projects, including the implementation of new site-specific contracts.
- Developing strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Handling ad-hoc reporting needs as they arise.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous relevant experience in financial reporting is preferred.
- A strong analytical background and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with Power BI would be a significant advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
