Uniserve, the UK's largest logistics and global trade management provider, is seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Operational Finance team at Tilbury.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Finance Analyst, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Finance Manager with vital financial and management reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Producing timely and accurate financial information, including weekly and monthly P&L reporting.
• Maintaining and reconciling cost provisions, accruals, and various cost and revenue accounts.
• Providing in-depth analysis and insights into specific business unit performance, ensuring KPIs are monitored and highlighted for management.
• Ensuring site compliance with corporate standards and financial controls.
• Supporting the Transport Finance Team with holiday cover and general assistance.
• Contributing to the development of standardised reports and efficient working practices.
• Assisting with business projects, including the implementation of new site-specific contracts.
• Developing strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the organisation.
• Handling ad-hoc reporting needs as they arise.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Previous relevant experience in financial reporting is preferred.
• A strong analytical background and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with Power BI would be a significant advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
