Description

The Same Day Speed Innovation team is a key driver of business growth and innovation within Amazon’s EU region. We're reshaping the customer experience by accelerating delivery times and developing innovative fulfillment solutions. Operating at the intersection of technology and operations, our team plays a pivotal role in improving Amazon's Same Day delivery network. We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst who will support the development and execution of strategies that enhance our Same Day capabilities, while navigating complex, ambiguous problem spaces.

Key job responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to drive business transformations, making a significant impact on operations across multiple teams. You will be instrumental in gathering and analyzing data, providing key insights, and driving key decisions to help improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and speed. Your expertise in data analysis and strategic problem-solving will be essential in optimizing processes and scaling initiatives to support Amazon’s fast-paced and dynamic growth.

A day in the life

  • End-to-End Analysis: Own the full analysis lifecycle for Same Day Speed Innovation programs, from initial data gathering and requirements analysis to post-launch review and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, operations teams, and data scientists to support the development of innovative solutions that enhance delivery speed, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced data analysis and reporting techniques to identify key business trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement within Same Day operations.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Design, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of Same Day delivery programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and optimal business outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle ambiguous business problems by developing data-driven hypotheses, providing actionable insights, and translating them into clear, practical recommendations for operational teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and driving action to enhance program performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Tableau
  • Experience using very large datasets
