Head of Procurement - #1763252

Job Purpose This is a senior leadership role, responsible for managing and optimising the hospital’s procurement and supply chain functions. You’ll oversee approximately £25m in goods and services spend, ensuring a professional, efficient, and patient-focused supply chain service.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurementLead and execute the hospital’s procurement strategy. Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and cost-saving opportunities. Use digital procurement tools (e.g., ERFX) to streamline sourcing.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement with organisational needs. Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and internal policies. Lead vendor negotiations and manage contract renewals.

Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes. Supply Chain ManagementOversee supply chain operations across all hospital departments. Ensure the availability of goods and services to support high-quality care.

Review stock usage and redeploy slow-moving items to reduce waste
