Collins Property Recruitment is working exclusively with a high-profile, design-led property developer based in Marylebone, Central London who are looking to appoint a talented and ambitious Accountant. Founded by well-known figures in the industry, the business has grown rapidly and now manages a very impressive development pipeline across London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to step into a broad, impactful Accountant role where you will work directly with the CFO and wider senior leadership team. The business has a start-up energy, premium aesthetic, and an exceptional track record of delivery.

The Role

As Accountant, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and play a central role in both reporting and strategic planning. This is a varied and commercial role in which you will have visibility at the highest level, with the opportunity to make a real contribution to the company's future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly reporting, reconciliations, cashflow and financial operations.
  • Prepare and present key reports to senior stakeholders including the founders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and commercial project tracking.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models.
  • Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (CIS experience a bonus).
  • Work across teams to support business strategy and decision-making.

Candidate Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with minimum 1-2 years PQE.
  • Strong Excel and confident using Xero.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially curious.
  • Excellent communication skills and confident presenting to leadership.
  • Real estate or construction background (ideal but not essential).
  • Strong financial modelling skills (nice to have).
