DNA Recruit are proud to be partnering with a globally scaling Immersive Experiences agency in search of a Business Development Manager to accelerate their international growth by securing licensing agreements for innovative, Interactive Art and Experiential Events.
This is not a typical Events Sales role – this opportunity is for a strategic dealmaker with experience driving IP-led partnerships, managing licensing sales from initial outreach to contract negotiation, and bringing an existing network of global buyers or promoters to the table.
 
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing new global licensees – including event promoters, broadcasters, and entrepreneurs – to bring bold, immersive experiences to new audiences. You’ll lead on identifying opportunities, shaping tailored proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions to production.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, target, and secure new licensing partners for immersive IP globally
  • Leverage your existing network to bring new business opportunities into the pipeline
  • Lead outreach, proposal development, and commercial negotiations through to contract
  • Work with internal finance and strategy teams on forecasting and go-to-market plans
  • Attend global industry events to build relationships and raise the agency's profile
  • Maintain accurate lead tracking via CRM systems and report on pipeline health
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Production, and Operations for seamless project delivery
 
Requirements:
  • Commercial mindset and proven track record in IP-based licensing deals
  • A global network within immersive experiences, live events, or location-based entertainment
  • Experience identifying and securing new licensees such as promoters, broadcasters, or entrepreneurs
  • Ability to manage licensing deals from initial outreach through to contract signature
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with financial projections and commercial modelling
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Excel
