The Macquarie Capital Infrastructure & Energy Capital team in London is dedicated to managing and supporting infrastructure and energy investments. Our team is responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities, managing assets, and providing strategic advice to clients. We work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects and investments.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?
You will be conducting market and industry analysis, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, evaluate and analyse the needs of clients. Negotiate and structure financial information for preparing buy-side, sell-side, or financing transactions. You will lead in the day-to-day execution of transactions by acting as project coordinator (including general coordination, management of advisers, etc). You will also oversee financial models (development, execution, interpretation). Lead in the preparation of Teasers, Information Memoranda and other transaction materials, Lead in preparing marketing materials (eg. pitchbooks, answers to RFPs) and participate in client meetings.

What You Offer
- Several years of relevant experience in an Investment Bank or similar, preferably within the Energy and Infrastructure sector
- Previous experience working on M&A or Financing transactions
- Experience in working on complex financial models and approach to different valuation techniques
- Experience in leading and reviewing due diligence
- Strong analytical/numerical skills as well as excellent commercial judgement
- Strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork, with a desire to learn and share knowledge both up and below
