PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £37,000 - £40,000 plus £5319 London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

This role is integral to the creation and delivery of commercial imagery and artwork for BBC Studios distributed titles. Focusing on Artwork and Key Art, this middleweight role ensures regional business, marketing, production and client needs are met across all platforms and media.

This role is highly collaborative, requiring regular engagement with production companies and key stakeholders across Global Brands, Marketing, Events, Comms, and Acquisitions. Your strategic input will help align creative output with business goals, making you a vital force in how the world experiences BBC Studios

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- The briefing, concepting and creation of impactful visuals to promote BBC Studios invested titles and production units. Creating and supporting production of trade visuals including event assets
- Communicating and briefing internal, Co-Producer and distribution stakeholder visuals requirements, to ensure delivered photography is suitable for Global promotional needs.
- Ensuring Production supply fully cleared photography with supporting clearance and copyright documents. To ensure the documentation is saved to individual programme files and the DAM system.
- Managing visuals on the DAM system. Full involvement with user training and support to help internal and external clients use the site
- Handling visuals requests from both within and outside BBC Studios, paying particular attention to rights management.
- Maintain contact with regional businesses and customers, not only to ensure contractual obligations are met but in the interests of developing successful working relationships and reflecting current photography needs.
- Comply with all relevant safety rules, procedures and guidelines and to be aware of responsibilities under the BBCSD safety policy.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Portfolio demonstrating strong experience creating or editing impactful imagery
- Knowledge of photography, technical shoot processes and an understanding of manipulation/retouch and storage of imagery.
- Experience of handling multiple stakeholders within advertising, media or broadcast industry
- Ability to prioritising & handling a high volume of projects across a diverse range of programmes.
- Proactive team player who is able to offer support across the Creative department as required
- Working knowledge of photographic copyright laws and rights management.
- An understanding of the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines and their relevance to publicity photography.
- Excellent organisational, communication and supervisory skills.
- Proven experience of photo applications such as the Adobe Suite e.g. Photoshop and Bridge
