Job Description
The Analytics and Data Tester is a newly created role in the Business Intelligence team based in either Glasgow or London, working with cutting edge technology.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced tester of Oracle Fusion reporting and/or OAC and FDI, with a strong background in Finance and Human Capital Management (HCM) domains. They will be responsible for designing and executing test scripts against all artefacts developed by the Business Intelligence analytics and data teams, driving the best standards in the QA of dashboards, reports, analytics, data flows, and ad-hoc data requests across Oracle Cloud applications, ensuring that all published content is of the highest quality.

Working location
Your contractual place of work will either be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow, or Heathrow in London so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work.
We also have some hybrid roles which offer the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.

Job Description

Your role will involve
- Developing and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases for Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) reports and dashboards related to Finance and HCM modules.
- Performing regression, functional and system integration testing for dashboards and reports and using your results to analyse and troubleshoot data discrepancies and report logic to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Automating test scripts where feasible using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborating with data and analytics team member and business analysts to understand reporting requirements and ensure accurate data representation.
- Working closely with the Analytic and Data Management team leads to work as one-team and build a highly performant analytics and data management ecosystem.
- Several years of experience in QA/testing roles, with a focus on Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud/FDI/FAW.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance) and HCM modules – including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Talent Management, and Compensation.
- Hands-on experience testing Oracle Fusion reports (OTBI, BIP) or OAC or Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test script development.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
