Visual Merchandising Executive

REPORTS TO: RETAIL DESIGN AND VM MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Support the Retail Design and VM Manager to drive the Visual Merchandising strategy across the UK market for Acqua Di Parma and Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Strive to deliver leading retail experience in-line with the brands global strategy and act as a guardian of evert brands image.

Job Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual Merchandising

  • Be the guardian of each brand to ensure perfect execution for each new launch and visual roll out
  • Support the Retail Design and VM Manager to drive and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy (in-store/sites/windows) which delivers a retail experience in-line with the global brand strategy and deliver a commercial return
  • Support with developing visual merchandising elements with local agencies in line with with global guidelines to support the launch of new ranges and products, drive profitable growth of core categories and address underperforming categories
  • Collaborate seamlessly with external VM consultants and agencies to deliver consistent high-level executions
  • Forecasting and inbounding of global VM tools ahead of installation
  • Lead visual roll out across all doors by focus
  • Continuously review effectiveness of visual merchandising practices on an on-going basis to ensure innovation, consumer interest and increased store profitability, and share ideas and analysis with the Store Design and VM Manager
  • Support the store and retail teams for all temporary animations, merchandising and counter maintenance topics, ensuring a resolution is put in place quickly and efficiently
  • Oversee the provision of Visual Merchandising principles and/or planograms for all stores, to help drive commercial success. Work closely with sales team and regional account managers to ensure the assortment is correct for the retailer, location, and store.
  • Responsible for implementing and managing the LVMH online ordering process for monthly NSV by door
  • Ensure POSM budget is kept too and reported back to Store Design and VM Manager
  • Raise purchase orders and update ‘Local Merchandising’ budget with all local production costs and elements
  • Creation of supporting documents to communicate with retail & HQ teams

Profile

PERSON SPECIFICATION Key Competencies Strong ability to build and maintain relationships internally & externally Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Proven organisation skills, time management skills, high level of detail orientation and ability to implement and execute multiple projects at once Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with several different departments & across all levels of the organization Proactive approach to all tasks and projects and shows initiative solve problems. Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) Strong team player and a can do attitude Understanding of customer experience requirements in a department store Technical Skills Good working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, InDesign & Sketch Up and AutoCAD proficiency desirable Profile Fluent in English 2 years minimum experience within a Visual Merchandising or Store Design position Inherent interest in luxury industry and beauty Desire to build a career within the Retail Design and Visual Merchandising industry
