The role
What you’ll do:
The UI Designer, with the Product Design team, will work to drive and define the visual and interaction design language and system of TotallyMoney. They will support the overall visual design of the current experience and assist in conceptualising our future experiences. The role sits within the Product Design team and works collaboratively across our customer-focused product teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience contributing to visual design languages and systems, with a keen eye for detail and consistency. They will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues in engineering to help implement the visual design language in product. The UI Designer will support the Product Director and Head of Product Design in delivering visual design solutions that align to company strategy and objectives.

The UI Designer will support the Product Director and Head of Product Design in delivering visual design solutions that align to company strategy and objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and evolving the visual design language for all TotallyMoney product experiences.
- Ensuring a consistent high standard for the visual execution of our product.
- Working collaboratively across product teams and the wider business to implement the visual language of the product.
- Building a strong collaborative relationship with the engineering team
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Stay current with design trends and best practices in fintech and digital products
Here’s what we think you’ll need to succeed in this role:
- Skilled in digital interaction design
- Experience with Figma and component libraries
- Understanding of design systems and component-based design
- Experience with organisation and maintenance of a ZeroHeight account and library an advantage
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Minimum 3 years experience, in-house an advantage
