The role
A very exciting opportunity for a senior management role within the business working closely with the Global Finance Function based in
EMEA. The candidate will also work closely on a cross matrix basis with various functions in the region.
As the role will be located in EMEA, the candidate should demonstrate a good grasp and understanding of different regulatory, compliance and reporting frameworks of the respective countries Yondr is operating in their region.
The candidate will monitor and control day-to-day activities of the finance function in the region and is the finance contact for internal and external stakeholders on all financial matters.
Main responsibilities
/ Overall financial responsibility for all entities within the region (excluding holding companies)
/ Review and presentation of monthly results
/ Review and presentation of regional and site cash flows
/ Involvement in annual budgeting process and forecasts
/ Debt covenants, monitoring and payment within the AssetCos
/ Liasing with external auditors to ensure completion of regional entity audits on a timely basis
/ Ownership of trial balances
/ Ownership of the regional audit process
/ Manage local stat providers and auditors
/ Fulfil monthly reporting and annual Group Reporting requirements
/ Work with tax team to ensure direct & indirect filings are accurate and done on time
/ Interface with Treasury to ensure all payments are done on time (i.e. tax, payments etc).
/ Ensure all compliance is filled per the statutory deadlines with the region
/ Ownership of budgets/forecasts on an entity level working closely with FP&A.
/ Work with Treasury and FP&A on short term and long term cash flows
/ Work closely with Treasury on debt drawdowns
/ Prepare capital call schedules.
Qualifications And Experience
/ Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA)
/ Experience partnering with senior staff
/ Technically proficient
/ Experience managing staff both local and remote with cross-cultural experience
/ Commercial and business acumen
/ Problem solver, with the ability to work in ambiguity and provide recommendations and solutions to challenges
/ Excellent written and oral communication skills
/ Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
Reporting lines
/ 2 Project Accountant responsible for all SPVs within the region, 1 Finance Analyst and 1 Finance Manager (interim)
