JOB PURPOSE

As a trusted finance partner, you will use your finance expertise, connecting seamlessly with your Business and Finance colleagues, to provide commercial finance support, influencing decisions or strategy to deliver bottom-line benefits. You will ensure the main cost drivers within Design, Supply Chain and Product Business Units are analysed and aligned to forecast / budget expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop strong and trusted partnerships with key budget holders within Supply Chain Business Unit  teams
  • Provide effective monthly management reports for key budget holders and Finance leadership team
  • Review variances and provide analysis when necessary
  • Manage and track costs for Opex and Capex spending. Undertake regular update meetings with key stakeholders to ensure existing costs and new developments are in line with budget
  • Manage the Budget and Forecast process, ensuring accurate uploads and reporting
  • Monthly cost analysis vs forecast and budgets, with analysis on key cost drivers
PERSONAL PROFILE

 

  • Qualified accountant ACA/CIMA or equivalent  
  • Strong analytical background, with a good attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to interact, advise and challenge stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Commercial and retail mind-set – ability to interpret business requirements and prioritisation.
  • Proven business partnering skills
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders with limited financial background
