Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.

As the Commercial Manager, International Home Entertainment, your primary focus will be maximizing distribution and revenue growth for our physical disc business across key European markets. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for our network of 3rd party physical disc distribution partners.

Additionally, you will also provide support to the International Digital Transactional business working on deal negotiations and initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

Physical Disc Distribution Partner Management

  • Provide end-to-end support to Physical Disc Distribution Partners (PDPs), from deal inception to execution
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Manage the ongoing relationship with PDPs, including leading quarterly business reviews
  • Monitor and analyse PDP sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform distribution strategies
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to stay abreast of market developments

Digital Transactional Support

  • Assist in the negotiation of licensing terms and execution of deals for new TVOD/EST opportunities with local platform partners
  • Collaborate with the digital transactional team to manage day-to-day partner relationships, including contract renewals, title selections, new business development
  • Work closely with internal legal and operations teams to ensure smooth deal implementation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interface with Partner Engagement, Customer Service, Legal, and Operations teams to drive process improvements and support future state system design
  • Provide guidance and leadership to team members on project management and problem-solving
  • Manage ad hoc partner-related initiatives

About The Team

Amazon MGM Studios Distribution: AMSD is responsible for licensing content from Amazon Studios and the iconic MGM library. This includes beloved franchises like James Bond, Rocky, Creed, and acclaimed series such as The Handmaid's Tale, Vikings, and Fargo.

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous experience in physical home entertainment distribution, preferably in a commercial/licensing role
  • Deep understanding of European physical disc distribution partners and their operational models
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements
  • Familiarity with local and global digital transactional platforms and licensing models

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adaptability and resilience to changing priorities and technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
