The A Side: A Day in The Life
Mercury Studios’ are looking for a new Rights & Clearances Admin Assistant, this role will support the Business Affairs, Clearance, Operations, Finance and Technology functions in ensuring rights data is entered accurately and in a timely manner. The workload will cover all inbound / outbound contracts, payment instructions and rights availability in Mercury Studios’ rights management system (Rights Tracker), and ensuring repertoire is cleared for distribution in the global clearing system (CLA)

Be Organised
- Review & upload all contracts into Rights Tracker (Rights In, Rights Out, Underlying Rights)
- Review of existing Rights Tracker entries ensuring accuracy of info and attachment of all relevant documents
- Contributing to development of the accuracy of availability report - especially with reference to current holdbacks, underlying rights and availability of assets
- Supporting the process of copyright registration and protection of all our content
- US Copyright & Mechanical Licensing process & systems management
- Supporting Cue Sheet Creation & Review
- Attention to detail
