About The Role
This role has the opportunity to work across all areas of the Finance team of 6 people, covering both BAU and assisting with the growth of the team and business.

About The Role
This role has the opportunity to work across all areas of the Finance team of 6 people, covering both BAU and assisting with the growth of the team and business.
You should be looking to complete a professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent).To accommodate this, we will offer:
- Full reimbursement of study and exam costs
- 3 days' paid study leave per exam plus one day leave to sit the exam (at the Company's discretion)
Accounts payable and receivable:
- Managing the accounts payable inbox
- Assembling, reviewing, and checking invoices to be completed for payment
- Invoice settlement
- Accounts administration and bookkeeping - uploading invoices and other materials supporting journal entries into our ledger system
- Working close with other members in the company regarding supplier/invoicing activities
- Inputting journals related to month end reporting/preparation of management and statutory accounts
- Reconciliation of bank accounts – daily, weekly and monthly review procedures and identifying any discrepancies/exceptional items
- Liquidity reporting
- Daily liquidity reporting
- Input of daily loan facility payments
- Opportunities to get involved with other finance workstreams and learn from a collaborative team such as analytics, credit risk, annual audit, fundraising or systems transformation
- Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Highly motivated and eager to learn, with a clear ambition to pursue a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Happy working in a rapidly growing company and willing to take on a broad range of tasks
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn finance-specific software
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Prior internship or work experience in finance is a plus but not essential
