In addition to operational leadership, the General Manager is accountable for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial performance across the UK & IE regions. This role will lead go-to-market execution, sales strategy, and ensure our market share and customer acquisition efforts are aggressively pursued.

- Lead the EU team with a strong focus on commercial performance, driving sales, revenue growth, and regional market expansion.
- Define and execute a high-impact sales strategy tailored to the EU market, including outbound prospecting, lead generation, school acquisition, and upsell initiatives.
- Actively engage with potential and existing schools to identify opportunities, close new business, and expand Compass’ footprint across the UK.
- Own regional forecasting, reporting, and accountability for meeting growth targets, customer acquisition KPIs, and financial goals.
- Serve as the senior leader in the London (Shepherd’s Bush) office, setting the tone for a high-performance, collaborative culture through full-time in-office leadership (5 days/week).
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performing cross-functional team across Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Support, ensuring cohesive customer experiences from first contact through implementation and renewal.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team to co-develop regional campaigns and drive awareness, lead generation, and engagement.
- Maintain direct involvement with strategic customer onboarding - conducting executive workshops, product demos, configuration sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
- Collaborate with the Product and Support teams to ensure the platform is accurately configured, continuously improved, and aligned with customer feedback.
- Actively contribute to product development through structured feedback loops, sharing market insights and school needs with the wider team.
- Represent Compass at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to enhance brand visibility and build strategic relationships.
- Drive customer advocacy by achieving high Net Promoter Scores, increasing referral activity, and maintaining strong retention and satisfaction levels.
- Ensure efficient delivery of onboarding and training activities, optimising internal resources and respecting delivery benchmarks.
