THE GIG
This role reports to the HR Operations Lead and plays a pivotal role in in managing the EU HR Coordinator team and co-ordinating the delivery of key monthly tasks and providing exceptional administrative support to the HR function, managers, and employees. With an emphasis on efficiency, employee experience and continuous improvement across all things HR operations and process.

THE GIG
This role reports to the HR Operations Lead and plays a pivotal role in in managing the EU HR Coordinator team and co-ordinating the delivery of key monthly tasks and providing exceptional administrative support to the HR function, managers, and employees. With an emphasis on efficiency, employee experience and continuous improvement across all things HR operations and process.
As our Senior EU HR Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Support the HR Operations Lead in monitoring the shared inbox, ensuring queries are responded to within SLAs. Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, liaising with HR, Payroll, and functional HR Leads.
- Oversee and administer the full employee lifecycle (joiners, movers, and leavers) in compliance with country legislation. Manage monthly payroll checking, coordinate with HR leads and payroll teams to meet deadlines, and drive process improvements.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Administer family leave, sickness, and in-country benefits, while managing pay rate changes and other cyclical HR tasks.
- Onboarding and training of new starters as well as leading their growth, development and engagement.
- Assist with recruitment through candidate screenings, induction planning, and training facilitation. Support onboarding processes and deliver HR inductions to the business.
- Oversee allocation and completion of weekly and monthly HR tasks, support ad hoc projects and administrative duties, and assist the HR Operations Lead as required.
Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in the local language of the functional or country remit - in this instance we are seeking multilingual experience due to the operating in a number of European countries.
- Proven experience administering and processing the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (ideally retail), with a focus on process streamlining and continuous improvement.
- Strong ability to prioritise workload with a methodical approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experienced with HR and Payroll systems such as Dayforce.
- Leadership exposure, creating a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Strong customer service focus with exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to build positive working relationships across departments, ensuring HR is seen as approachable, responsive, and reliable. Works effectively both independently and within a team, supporting colleagues when needed.
