Marketing Analyst
Hybrid: 2 days/week in-office

The Role
Joining our Marketing Analytics team as a Paid Media Analyst, you’ll play a lead role in optimising performance of paid search, while identifying and scaling opportunities across other paid media channels such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
You'll work closely with the marketing team and marketing engineers to optimise every pound we spend. The scale of our marketing operation, combined with our agility and bias to action, means your work will have a direct and measurable impact on business performance.

- How do we maximise growth from Paid Search while maintaining profitability?
- How can we deepen our understanding of our customers to improve their experience with our marketing and reach them effectively across paid media?
- How do changes in consumer search behaviour signal shifts in demand, and how can we respond faster?
What You’ll Be Working On
Using tools and databases including Google sheets, BigQuery (SQL), Tableau, and Python you’ll tackle intriguing and exciting problems that we’re only just starting to understand, in order to:
- Measure, quantify, and optimise complex marketing funnels and consumer journeys
- Run tests to better understand the incrementality of our marketing channels and campaigns
- Collaborate with and influence the relevant marketing team members to make more informed data-guided decisions
- Monitor, report and diagnose trends in KPIs, automating wherever possible, and proactively finding risks and opportunities
- Development of analytical tools and models to improve our analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in SQL is essential; we also use Python for automation, modelling and experimentation, if you're not an expert yet, we’ll help you get there
- Communication skills; scoping projects, disseminating results and instilling confidence in your work with key internal stakeholders of varied backgrounds
- Experience in using analytical and data BI tooling such as Tableau (Git, dbt - nice to haves)
- Experience building operational & financial models, synthesising recommendations, and presenting to senior executives
- Strong prioritisation and urgency; understanding that not every task is urgent, but every day is

- Developed an in-house model to understand our how to improve our Organic search performance
- Supporting a company wide initiative to develop and implement a propensity model to give our customers more relevant content
- Developed our own optimisation model to find opportunities in search marketing campaigns
