An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Lymphoedema Service within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. To deliver specialist Lymphoedema services, including initial assessments, treatments and follow-ups in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust locations working as part of a small specialised team.
We have over 125 sites in a variety of locations in the South of England. In London we operate within the Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley Greenwich and into Kent. We manage hospital sites including Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Memorial Hospital, Woolwich, as well as the Bracton Centre, our medium secure unit for people with mental health needs. We are the largest NHS provider of prison health services providing healthcare to prisons within Devon, Dorset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, Kent and South London. - The Post Holder will work within a small team delivering Lymphoedema treatment/management taking into account Local, Regional and National Policy direction in line with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
- To provide a fully comprehensive service, including initial assessment, intensive treatment packages and follow-ups
- To deliver an efficient and effective service for patients according to best and evidence-based practice and utilising appropriate software
- To raise awareness of the condition and the service
- Adhere to excellent standards of care within the Lymphoedema Service
