Corporate Actions Reference Data Specialist - Major Hedge Fund - CassonX - #2082365

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify an SME of Corporate Actions based Security Master and Reference Data. Preference is given to those coming from a Hedge Funds, Broker-Dealer or traditional Asset Manager background, and where you have worked with colleagues in other geographies, but they are willing to look at any type of Financial Services firm where you have created, maintained, and offer proven Data quality experience for a wide variety of different asset classes (equities, fixed income and derivatives). Experience working with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit (S&P Global), ICE (and other Data Vendors) is essential for this role. You will offer plenty of relevant corporate actions and market data events (e.g., dividends, mergers, splits, spin-offs) knowledge for this specialist role and function being built for the wider Reference Data function.

The successful individual will lead the build-out of the Corporate Actions Data Management function, including the establishment of workflows, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes. You will collaborate with technology teams to automate corporate actions workflows and enhance data pipelines, whilst also responsible to develop and implement controls to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of corporate actions data across all asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. This will need you to partner with external Data Vendors and internal teams to optimise the corporate actions data feeds and resolve queries.
