Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow senior-level relationships with corporate clients across the UK T&L sector
  • Originate new business opportunities and expand existing relationships in line with strategic priorities
  • Lead transactions end-to-end, including structuring, negotiation, and execution alongside product teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, engaging regularly with Treasury and C-suite stakeholders
  • Develop and execute strategic client account plans to maximise long-term value
  • Identify sector trends, risks, and opportunities, contributing to broader team strategy
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across products and geographies to deliver integrated solutions
  • Lead pitch development and client presentations to secure new mandates
  • Take ownership of portfolio performance, including revenue generation, credit quality, and risk management
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and KYC requirements
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture through coaching, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.


Candidate Profile

Experience & Expertise

  • 10+ years' experience in corporate or investment banking, with Director-level exposure in client coverage or origination
  • Strong track record within the UK Transportation & Logistics sector, with demonstrable client relationships
  • Proven ability to originate business, lead deal execution, and deliver against revenue targets
  • Experience across lending, capital markets, and advisory products
  • Sound understanding of credit risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Background within an international banking environment preferred

Qualifications

  • Degree from a leading university (2:1 or equivalent or above)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
