The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and executing payroll processes with accuracy and compliance. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in payroll systems and a strong understanding of accounting practices within the not-for-profit industry.

Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data is reflected in payroll systems.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide resolution in a professional and timely manner.
  • Generate and review payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure pension contributions and other deductions are processed correctly.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Support audits by providing relevant payroll documentation and reports.

Profile

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:

  • Proficiency in payroll systems and relevant software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance in the UK.
  • Experience in handling payroll within the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
