Interim Accountant - #2084108

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a prestigious, high-end commercial property business on an initial 3–4 month contract.

This is a hands-on role supporting the finance team through a busy period, with a focus on month-end reporting, variance analysis and journal posting. The successful candidate will have strong management accounting experience and previous exposure to Yardi (preferred).

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Working with Yardi to extract, review and analyse financial information
• Analysing variances against budget and prior periods
• Investigating and explaining key movements in the numbers
• Preparing and posting journals
• Supporting month-end close processes
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and reporting requirements
• Providing ad hoc finance support as required

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a management accounting role with a strong emphasis on investigations
• Previous experience using Yardi is essential
• Strong month-end and reporting experience
• Excellent variance analysis skills
• Confident journal preparation and posting experience
• Strong Excel skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to hit the ground running
• Experience within property, real estate or asset management would be highly advantageous
